FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Students who are newly enrolled at Yaşar University can borrow books from the library when they apply to the entrance floor of the library with their student IDs. There is no need for any membership process.
Yaşar University students, administrative staff, academic staff members outside Izmir University Platform (master or doctorate students at a university in Izmir) can benefit from the library after the membership process.

Academic: 10 books for 30 days and extend 2 times for 15 days
Associate and Undergraduate Students: 3 books for 15 days and extend 2 times for 10 days
Graduate, Doctorate Students and Administrative Staff: 5 books for 21 days and extend 2 times for 15 days

What is the call number?
The call number is the number that enables the book to be cataloged and found easily on the shelf according to its subject.
The book's place number;
Ground floor: between A-M and Selçuk Yaşar Library, Şadan Gökovalı Library, Dictionaries and foreign language preparation / reading books
First floor : between P-Z,
Second floor : K and N.
You can borrow a computer between 09:00 and 16:00 on weekdays with an ID card.
Computers can only be used in the library.
You can get an appointment from the library entrance floor or by sending an e-mail to [email protected] .
One person :2 hours
Group : 4 hours
The Library and Information Center serves by appointment between 09:00 and 16:00 on weekdays due to the pandemic.
You can access electronic resources from outside the campus by downloading the appropriate program for your computer from https://library.yasar.edu.tr/en/remote-access/ and following the steps in the installation document. You can report problems with remote access by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
